Architecture
The shape of the institute.
PHĪME is one institution — six instruments held in one operating system. Each instrument exists on its own. None of them does the institute's work alone. The whole is what makes the chain hold from soil to body to inheritance.
The institute is operated by Metabolic Dreaming Systems Pvt. Ltd. (MDS) — a registered private limited company that holds the contracts, the IP, the data infrastructure, and the partnerships. PHĪME is its operational identity: the institute that MDS runs. §80G + 12AB charitable structures are in place; the FCRA roadmap is in progress.
The FarmFarm8 Foundation · Aya Nagar, New Delhi
Three acres of regenerative cultivation in peri-urban Delhi — continuously instrumented for soil organic carbon, microbial diversity, mycorrhizal density, plant nutrient signature. Farm8 is the institutional ground: the place where soil ceases to be an abstraction and becomes a measurable variable, and where the chain begins.
It is also the institute's public face — a working farm hosted by an active community, with seven years of cultural-research partnership through FICA and the Goethe-Institut layered on top of the agronomy.
The ClinicFMST · Frontline Metabolic Systems Triage
An AI-enabled clinical decision support tool, deployed at the front line — peri-urban primary care, low-resource community settings, the kinds of places where metabolic disease is most concentrated and least adequately served. FMST is what turns the protocol into practice: it routes patients, flags complexity, and triages care across a stewarded operating loop.
An EVAH Pathway A 12-month deployment is in design, with Farm8 as primary field site and a published academic-evaluation framework anchored at SGT University.
The ProtocolRMST family · root + sister protocols
The intellectual property layer. RMST (Root Metabolic Systems Therapy) is the master clinical protocol — the reproducible therapeutic logic that translates the soil-food-microbiome chain into something a clinician can do. Sister protocols address specific surfaces: OMST (oral-metabolic, anchored at SGT Dental Sciences), HMST (psychological / hospicing dimensions, anchored with Dr. Amita Puri at Shambhave Wellness), and FMST (the deployed triage tool itself).
The IP track is filed and managed by the institute's named counsel. The protocol family is built to support a DPIIT Deep Tech designation as it matures.
The DataMSP / Hearth platform
The data infrastructure that holds every measured variable in one longitudinal record — from a soil sample taken on Tuesday at Farm8 to the symptom log of a patient seen on Friday at the field clinic, in the same database. This is what makes PHĪME a research system rather than a practice: the institutional memory that lets every encounter improve the protocol for the next one.
Patient confidentiality and data-governance standards are core to the platform's design, not an afterthought layered on top.
The SchoolWSLF · Wellspring School of Living Futures
The training programme that produces the operational workforce. WSLF Stewards are non-specialist health workers trained to operate inside the FMST loop with role clarity, communication discipline, and accountability — fluent enough in both the farm and the clinic that the chain doesn't fall apart at the human layer.
Steward outreach and recruitment runs through FICA's civic and cultural networks; professional formation advisory is provided by Ritu Dhawan-Foster.
The ArchitectureMetaPraxis · three-node operational lattice
The operating discipline that holds the other five together. MetaPraxis names the three diagnostic frames every PHĪME intervention passes through: Relational Field (the conditions of the act — where), Inscription Mode (how the work marks what it touches — how), and Intervention Rhythm (the timing and texture of action — when). Practice is the where, how, and when held in coherence.
It is the difference between a project that does many things and an institution that does one coherent thing in many places.
held at the centre
The Cardiac Interiality.
The point where soil-as-instrument, body-as-evidence, and hearth-as-host meet in the same institutional moment. The six instruments above are how the chain is held; the cardiac interiality is where it is held — at the centre of the institute, not at its perimeter. The institute does not arbitrate at the border; it brings the world into the chest and arbitrates at the fire.
Why these six together
No existing institution holds all six in one place.
Universities have the research but not the farm. Hospitals have the clinic but not the soil. NGOs have the community but not the protocol. Pharma has the protocol but not the cultural inheritance that carries practice forward. Each existing institution treats a piece of the metabolic-disease epidemic; the epidemic continues to outpace every institution designed to treat its parts separately.
PHĪME is the system that holds the parts as one chain. Small enough to be coherent; large enough to do real work; specific enough to be falsifiable. The institute's argument is not that this shape is theoretically correct. It is that this shape is operationally necessary — and that no one else has built it.
The institute earns the right to ask by what it has measurably built — and by who has already trusted it on paper.
